Hello All,

Do you do any maintenance or repairs yourself? If so please list what type of work you've done, was it complicated and how long did it took you. For example basic oil change or brake jobs.

I just purchased a used 2004 C32 AMG and I would like to do some basic repairs instead of going to the dealer for everything.

I take it to the dealer since its all covered under warranty. Only 22K miles, so no need for brakes yet.

I put roughly 20K miles on my car a year so I like to do some things sooner than the dealer. I personally like to change my oil every 5K miles. I drive rather aggressive at times so I tend to do brake maintenance earlier than most. I'm also thinking about Auto X the car and possibly some light track events next year. If I went to the dealer it would end up costing me a fortune.
