1/4 mile time for Wed 9/28 watch out Chap!
Only got in two runs,arrived at track late 
Not to happy beause I only got two runs but I 'm determined to reach my low 13 high 12 sec goal within the next two track runs I've got to . I'm sure the Detractor (no names(R---)
) will like below which I was not happy about.
1st run terrible launch and did not stage properly(Revs not up on pwr braking). 1st run I raced against my friends turbo charged Lexus IS 300 had traction control on , terrible launch as well 60ft'2.499 14.118 @105.00 .His last run was the same ET with traction control off but ran 111.50 mph

I had lunch today with a friend with a new SLK55 that he will be testing Sunday as well. The exhaust note on that SLK55 is sweet music
I checked the weather for Sunday and the forecast is for lows in the mid-50s...translating to about a 60-65 degree temp at 10am when the racing starts. BTW, I'm still running my original (3.3 year-old) OEM air filter as the tech said it didn't needed to be changed at my last service.
I'll take some pics and post results Sunday evening or Monday.

We have a big AMG meet out here with AMG actually involved this coming wknd.Unfortunately i'll be in the Dominican Republic!

It's all trial and error since I'm used to driving manual shift cars on the track.
If it don't happen with this I'll try my M3 or just stick with my mid 11sec Talon.
For now I'm wrking wth my AMG.
