The car is a 2002 C32. I noticed this foam piece sitting on the floor under the driver's side dash. I found it sitting exactly like it is in the pic.



Anybody have any idea where that foam piece goes? It doesn't seem like it could've fallen down from somewhere inside the panel below the dash, so I'm guessing somehow its supposed to be stuck onto the gas pedal?



Here's a pic of the foam. Its juss a regular piece of squishy foam. Feels a little sticky/oily/dirty. I'm sure its from the car because I don't think my shoe could've picked up something that big. =)

It is the foampiece that is stuck at the top of the accelerator - on the rightside in between of accelerator and carpet...doesn't really do anything there.

you better make sure that it didnt knock any of your heat shielding off during lift-off....
