It's been over 2 weeks since I faxed Tony and unsurprisingly, no response.

Hey Hugedrive, did you have any luck on the phone? I could called but f*ck adding the os phone charges to the bill...

If anyone does get to speak to Tony, please ask him to do us a favour and come on to the forum so he make contact with customers of Harris he's supposed to have inherited...

Yeah please let me know if you do get hold of him and if you don't mind please point him in my direction also (just mention my fax if possible). I must say it's not too promising when both phone and fax are so far unanswered....

Unhappy

Well, all is still quiet on the Harris front. My fax to 'Tony' was a complete dead end, zero acknowledgement, what a surprise that was.

Looks like I can kiss my money good bye...

Anyone else have any luck?

everything and anything
Just how many people here are owed money by Harris for product they purchased? Are we talking a few or alot?

If you add up all the amounts that this Harris owes, thats a rather large sum. How come no one has suggested that all of you merge together as one group and go after this guy?

I can understand how some of you have said going after a guy for under 10k will be a moot point after involving lawyers, but with everyone in it together it might be a better choice. At least think about it. I hate it when people come to our forums to sell products and cause these kind of headaches.

Another suggestion would make sellers list all there contact info such as tel, fax, email and address's. Maybe even implement a feedback system so our forum members know whats happening?

Just my 02 cents.

Maybe this is just a big coincidence, but the gentleman's email reply name was "Harris/JuJu". He has been very courteous and prompt in responding to my emails and concerns.

He even indicated that he would reimburse me my shipping charges once I get a refund from FedEx.

Could he be the Harris everyone is so upset with? I can’t imagine, because my experience with him has been very positive so far.
Dont know much about this, but it appears to me that Silver Metallic has his contact info, or did.. Did anyone follow up with Silver?

If the money traveled over state lines then isn't that mail fraud/FBI territory?

We're talking Canada though, what jurisdiction do the FBI have there? Mine is Aus/Can, even less relevent unfortunately.

Doesn't make a difference, if you sue him he will be forced to go to you.

Which means he will be forced to hire a lawyer, place to stay, flights, it all adds up.

What to Australia? That I'd like to see. I know several good lawyers quite well. I've never bothered to mention this situation to them, but can pretty much guess their response. Next time I bump into one of the I'm going to get a quick opinion, just so I can most likely confirm what I'm already thinking once and for all.

Perhaps, depending on the cost of a PI. But also, then what do you do when they find him, thinking of it from my situation and location?
