I too have thought about ps2's but the price difference is not worth it.
When I am driving on the street the performance difference is negligible save road noise preferences which frankly doesn't measure up to the engine or exhause noise so whats the point?
When I am on the track I put on R comps and I like my Toyo T1S on the track as well, very progressive noise and the rounded edge of the sidewall plays well with our car's inherent suspension geometry.
For me Toyo T1S still wins even though it is relatively low on the list
