10 speaker stereo
i was thinking the other day, after i took my rear deck apart to fix the buzzing sound from the deck from the sub speaker back there... where are the 10 speakers for this stereo? my sticker says 10 speakers, but i can't really figure out where they are.
ok, 2 tweeters up front, then two directionals in the doors (mid and low) ok that's 6
then what in the back? the sub is 1 then what in the doors? two directionals in the back doors with mid and lows? that makes 11???? what is the sound set up in 2003 C32? does anyone actually know?
by the way, if you sound proof the rear deck to make it stop buzzing with too much base, the stock system is not that bad. i taped the rear speaker holes and put some sound proofing in and the rear deck no longer buzzes with to much base.
I have the base turned up to 6 and the fader to -3 to the rear and the system sounds damn good. i know it's not as good as getting an amp, but then you have to deal with the non-stock look, and then it looks....well, a little cheesy!
any thoughts out there? what is the speaker setup?

Nice information. What ound proofing did you use?
Also, sorry if this is a thread hijack, but was the system in the 2002s some kind of *******ization then? I don't see all those settings you list, but I have that little sub back there and it says bose on it. None of my other speakers do though. The sound isn't bad, but I would say it's not as clear/crisp/nice-in-general as my wife's C320 that does say bose on all the speakers, but she has a wagon so obviously no rear deck sub.

my sytem appears to be bose all around, haven't opend up the doors.
oddly enough, the rear deck only has one sub in it, even though there are two fake speaker vents back there (that i had to tape down to stop from vibrating with two much base.
