Hi All

I like to introduce myself, I just today signed off buying our 2005 C55 Blk/blk with 7K miles. It is funny how things work out.

Orginally I was looking for a new car for my wife to replace her aging Audi A4. I had looked at the IS350 and was dead set to get her one until I realized that getting one the way I wanted would have taken upto 4 months (I am simply not that patient), and there was nobody giving discounts (to be expected). So I went around and around on what new car to get and came across a great deal on this C55. Having driven one before I knew I just had to have it the frugile side of me said maybe you should see if you can pick up a C32 at less of cost and I have always been more of a forced induction kind of guy. But the bug got me and I decided to go with a C55 instead (while the little demon on my shoulder kept saying you could always supercharge it later).

I expect to have the car in my hands within 1 week or so as it is being shipped to me. So in the mean time I will try and get more info on the car here on the forum.

The one thing that is missing on this model is navigation does anyone know if you can retrofit NAV into the car? And if so at what cost?

Also I have seem members with mods on there C55 can some give me a break down on what seems to work best and what kind of numbers they produce.

Thanks in advance guys..

Congrats on your purchase, carlo. Can't wait to see some pics. Where is it being shipped from?? (...i.e, you haven't actually seen it in person yet?)

I got a price for about 3000$ for the complete front unit for a C55.
Including tv/nav etc.

Probably costs more at MB.

Congrats on a nice car btw
