bass/treble keep resetting in Aux mode using Sirius satillite radio

ok, here's something very weird

I got Sirius satellite radio - put the receiver in the ash tray, so you can still close it and hooked it up to the aux jack in the glove. mounted the antenna on the roof after getting it painted to match the body

I have command, and as i'm sure many of you know (or don't know) the bass, treble, fade and balance controls can be set differently for each type of input- radio, cd, etc.

so i have my fader set at minus 3, my bass at 6 my treble at 0 and the balance right in the middle for my cds. my radio is slightly different with the same fader

here's the weird part......

i set the aux for the same settings as my cd, but each time i shut the car off, it resets the bass and treble to 0 BUT NOT THE FADER!!!!! ok, not sure why it is resetting the base and treble each time, but if it was going to reset them, why wouldn't it reset the fader too?

i need help from you techno guys out there. what can i do? why is this happening? anyone else test their car to see if there's does the same??? minor annoyance, but still quite annoying
