hey guys i need help. I accidentally scratched the CF or whatever the material is around the shifter - black and gray CF squares or whatever. not a big scratch however it shows easly. it looks like it is simply on the top layer only. Should i jst clear it or do they make a solution to touch it up?

Perhaps try using a fine tiped permanent black marker on the black part of the fake CF that is scratched. Should be able to be fairly accurate and not get on the silver part. How bad is it? Pic?

I had a discoloration on my ashtray lid that bothered the hell out of me so I checked on ebay and found a new factory one pretty quickly. I think I got a good deal.. If you are handy and can install yourself, might be a place to keep an eye out. I would rather replace the scratched part than try to cover it up.. good luck..

$50 - $100 to replace. Just change it.
