Been surfing for a while here, finally need to post.
I have been noticing since cold weather has been around, that when I first drive the car there is a clunking noise from the front suspension when going over bumps. It seems to subside after that car gets all warmed up, anyone have any ideas? IT annoys me greatly. Thanks

I had the same issue on my driver's side of the car when I first got the car. I haven't heard it in the last 3 months though.
What kind of car do you have?

36000 miles- if that has anything to do with it.

I doubt mileage has anything to do with it. I had 30 miles on my car when I first got it. That's when it clunked the most.Originally Posted by uownme

Have the dealer replace them. I got mine done at my first service.

You might want to just check to see if the bolts/nuts are tight on the swaybar endlinks. They can come loose and clunk especially at the top where they mount to the strut. I have never had the endlinks go bad, only come loose due too poor design.
