How much did you pay for "Service A" on C55?

How much did you pay for "Service A" on C55?
My display says it's due for a "Service A" I called two dealers and was told $250 and $355 
. Is this normal?
Okay, this is my first MB but this appears to be an LOF with inspections. I would have guessed under $100 like for my Honda & Acuras. Perhaps I'm cheap or just do not understand how the work differs between brands.

it's a big rip-off but what are u going do?
u can do-it-urself or find a reputable mechanic to do it and it will be cheaper.
do a search, u'll find some threads on it.

I am getting mine done on C55 tommorrow for $185 in West Covina, CA. I think it really depends on how much the dealer wants to charge and the cost of living in each area.
