First MB...and glad to be here!
All I can say is WOW! I just took delivery of an '03 C32 (Silver/Charcoal/Bi-Xenon/CD). This thing is scary fast...I had an idea, but did not imagine it had this much pulling power. As a new member, I want to give a bit of my history, especially the part that makes my experience sort of special. I am the first person in my family to ever own an import automobile of any type or brand (except for my neice who bought a Hyundai because of the cost savings). My father, brother, sister, cousins, nephews, etc. have never owned a foreign automobile. GM and Fords are the only brands we have owned! Having never been at all "intimate" with a german car, I must say, it is a far cry from an American car. The design, construction, tightness, and feel are very very different. My first car was a '68 GTO with a 400ci, 360(?) hp engine. It's power was brutal, but of course very raw. This was the fastest car I had driven until Thursday! Now, I am thoroughly smitten with my (almost) new C32! I can hardly wait to share my new import ride with my thoroughly American car family on Christmas day. I will post again after I hear their comments. I will also post some questions in the near future, as you all are very knowledgeable about your C32's and I hope to be able to use your collective expertise. Thanks and Happy Holidays to all.
