a car that can't do the throttle reset.
creaking noise on wheel turn
when car is stationary and i move the steering wheel it makes a creaking noise, like a bad torsion bar. it is so intermittent that taking it to the dealer now is pointless. anyone ever have this?
also, in the morning, first move out of my garage... have to go from park to reverse, car makes same creak.

I have a similar experience in my W203 as well as others who have a W208. There is a spring behind the steering wheel that senses the position of the steering wheel. It makes a small click noise when you turn the wheel 180 deg. I first noticed it after I installed my Brabus steering wheel, and it was kind of annoying, but oh well.

It depends on the sound the steering wheel makes. If it makes a small click sound in a certain position, then it's probably just the spring, and you shouldn't worry about it since it's relatively common. If it's creaking or louder, then maybe something else is wrong.
