Umbrella straps

This is my first post so here it goes. I have 2005 C55 and I've had a problem with large golf umbrellas rolling around in the trunk. I got the idea from seeing the truck in the new S-class. The S-class has an umbrella holder on the back side of the trunk. I went to the local hardware store and bought some black velcro and some 1/2" long self tapping sheet metal screws. Cut two strips about 8"-12" long. Then peel of the tape and stick the two sticky sides to themselves. Once you've made your double sided velcro straps (you need two) put the sheet metal screw in the metal of the strap. On the underneath side of the back deck (where the back speakers are mounted) drill thru the strap into the sheet metal. There are several places just pick one where there are no wires. Now you have two straps attached to the car and place the umbrella in and strap away. Maybe the easiest and definitely the cheapest mod done so far. Worst that happens is you have two very small screw holes.
