Hey guys,

The butt area on the front driver and passengers seats no longer heat up, just the back side. Is this a common problem? I have an 02 C32 with extended warranty. Is it covered? If not, how much am I looking to fix it?

I am getting my driver's seat repaired under factory warranty tomorrow. I have heard that they replace the whole seat, but that may not be true. No idea on cost.

i have had both driver and passenger heated seat base parts replaced and both times under warranty

they replace the base part of the seat so you will probably notice a difference, it often looks a diff colour but dont be alarmed its just because the cover is new and doesn't have that polished look where your *** has been, after a few months of wear it should look ok

Ditto here - common problem. New butt part of seat. Slightly different color/texture - will wear in and be cool.
