Here's my proposition for you on the carbon fiber lip. I got a change to do some measurement on the lip in person on a C55. It look like it going to fit on my CL 55 just fine. But i'm not 100% sure on it. I would like to order the lip and try to fit it on my CL. If for what ever the reason i can't get it to fit right on my Cl, you would allow me to return it for 100% refund on the part minus the shipping charges. I would also pay for the return shipping also. If you agree to this term, i'll order it.

No offense, but that is one stupid proposition.

hmmm.... let me think about it... why would an owner of a company selling new products sell you something he knew wouldn't fit so you can try to make it work based on the understanding that if you can't, he will accept a return at a 100% refund???? Only to then turn around a sell a "used" product to someone else? Answer - he wouldn't... in turn, a very stupid proposition.

Ok, first of all, he never mentioned that he try fitting it on the CL 55 until the last post. If i knew this before, i would not ask.

I was try to benefit both of us if it fit. And if it not fit, it will be return in an orignal condition because there's no hole being drill or anything. All I want was just to hold the lip up against my bumper just to see if it will fit. How is it considered used? If that is considered used then i get every lip is also consider used because they test fit it before it ship out, right?

Exactly !! It the samething as if i would drive to your business and test fit it. If it don't, you don't buy. No harm is done. It funny that you don't have a problem with it but i don't know why he think it stupid. Some people just look stupid when they open their mouth.

Carbon fiber lips and other parts are usually "made to order," meaning they are handcrafted from a mold. A lot of time goes into making these things since they are not produced by machine in large quanitities. It would be stupid to sell a costly part only to have it returned and expect a full refund. If he says it doesn't fit, then it doesn't fit. You should just hope he makes a new plug for the CL front bumper.

I wouldn't say its a stupid question since most people would possibly not do it either. I just would do it anyway, smart of stupid. But it doesn't really matter since it wont fit.

Yes, i can. Your CL55 must be an 02 or under? The 4x9x70 is oval tips. It is not like the factory AMG exhaust on the 02 CL55 with just 2 oval tips. They do make a 4x120x77 which is just like the factory AMG exhaust on the 03+ CL55. But again that will not fit your car. I am sending you a PM now.
