My steering wheel has started to be loose ie. it can shift sideways about 1/4"-3/8", it doesn't move up/down or in/out and before anyone asks, yes it does till turn 
Has anyone else had this, is it serious, how do I fix it?
Warrenty has just expired of course.

Truns out the mounting bolts were coming loose, cost $250 to fix as they had to disassemble the steering column.
