Few Q's about an 02 C32
How good are the C32's? Any engine or tranny problems? Going to take it for a test drive today but i figured i'd ask first. Thanks
Are you concerned about replacing the transmission because of wear and tear an 80k mile car the jerking issue the 02/early 03 cars have?
Before you buy it have MB run a history. If it had the tranny redone (I kinda doubt it did) than I'd buy it in a heartbeat. If it wasn't than it will be an expensive job.
When I had my transmission replaced for the jerking issue, the total bill would've been $11k+ but warranty covered it.
There are a few high mile C32 owners here and hopefully chime in to address engine issues because I have no idea.
Good luck either way

Thank you for the reply. I was actually just wondering about the tranny because of age and miles. Do you by chance know what a rebuild runs on the C32's tranny? I test drove the car today and it is a beast. If everything checks out i'm probably going to pick it up. One of the reasons why it was so cheap at auction is because the car had been keyed and needs a paint job.
