C55 owners experienced overall power drop?
Recently, I found my C55 is not reaching those "peaks" easily.
Even at 3rd gear, It seems the rpm I read is not as high.
I could not find any abnormalities that's why I suspected
that either it could be my shoes or the fuel pedal not functioning properly e.g. not feeding enough fuel when I press on them.
I now have to push the car much harder e.g. I have to go to 3rd gear more often for a acceleration rate which I normally could do it at the 4th gear.
I also noticed that normally I could hit 176 km/h easily before the acceleration is slowing down , and now , the same pattern I speed up the car, it seems the highest speed I could reach in the quickest time is ~155 km/h !
One instant, I experienced that it seems when I shifted to the 4th gear, it did not pick up the speed which I had reached at the 3rd. e.g. I hit 130 km/h at 3rd and after shifted to 4th, the speed became ~ 120km/h. I did not release the pressure on the fuel pedal , and this is why I suspected something wrong with the fuel pedal. ( As I pressed on them, it seems the car does not response to my action as responsive as before )
Could that be the air filter which never being replaced?
I checked the tire pressure and were ok.
I recall it seems some threads mentioned some power drop due to software of the Speed shift ....or some minor component ....whatever.
Any advice will help before I take it to the service
