Well it has come it is Mod Time.

Hi guys

I been enjoying our C55 but we have decided that is mod time. I like to hear from the rest of you what kind of success you guys had with the following

1. New brake pads the factory dust like crazy. Any good options here?

2. Need new wheels I know you guys will balk but I am thinking 20x9|10 rear and 19x8 in front with 265/30R20 and 235/35R19 in front. Any got any pics of what a 20" looks like in the rear?

3. I like to do some rear headrests for when my daughter needs to watch her shows. Any got pics? I was thinking Vizual which has the built in DVD player in headrest.

4. New Grill..

5. Wide angel side mirror (replace just the mirror part)

6. Suspension I would like to do but I may just wait to see how it looks with the bigger wheels.

7. I would like to add navigation to this car. I am not sure how much of a complication would be to get some like and Avic-N2 but may consider going to a factory Nav system. My biggest concern is would I need to replace all the speakers or not.

8. Maybe a little bit of chrome accents like the billet door pins and surround, mirror clam shields.

9. And something that bothered me when I got this car was I had no HIDs what are the options here?

a quarter mile at a time
STFF, but:

1. I haven't changed my brakes but people seem to like porterfield pads here

2. AFAIK, that particular combination won't work. The front tire OD needs to be slightly larger than the rear for ESP to stay happy. what's wrong with going with 19"s in the front and back?

3. There are people that have done this, checkout the W203 forum

4. Sure you can find plenty of info

5. not sure

6. There are quite a bit of posts about this as well.

7. Also in the W203 forums, people have done both complete aftermarket solutions, as well as adding the factory command to the car.

8. Sure you can find plenty of info

9. You can always upgrade to factory BIX. (look for Steve)
