before we start talking super sedan potential... let's see if the internals will hold up for additional boost.

If BMW was able to provide a solid internal components, this car will be a monster.

But this car will be able to hit high 12's with mild boost upgrades....

Mid 13's in stock form.

HURRAY

I think that just sealed the deal for me... I can't stand the 2 swoops dash on the current 5 series...

i'm not feelin' the stock wheels right now, but anybody can fix that.

While that could be tru I'm sure the internals will be up to par.Guys have been turbocharging E36 M3's with stck rods and pistons for the past 7 yrs at www.icsperformance.com with superb results.Those rods on the N/A E36 M3's have been known to handle 500rwhp without failing with proper ECU tuning!!

Don't forget though that the modded power will be less useful than that of a C32. Supercharging == immediate torque. Turbocharging == wait to spool. This can't be solved with staged turbos, because each turbo feeds only three cylinders on the 335. Thus, throwing larger turbos on it means greater power, but more turbo lag

Turbo lag is overrated.

but look at the torque curve and peak torque... it will come in much sooner and consistent through the rev band

something that the C32 does not have... it peaks at a high 4400 rpm compared to 1500 like the Bi-T 3L.

one thing my C32 needs is low torque, the supercharger only makes maximum boost at the higher RPMs. I would be nice if more boost was provided at the lower revs.

BMW Coupe E92 has two engine versions.
328i 3.0 litre NA
335i 3.0 litre Twin Turbo Direct Injection.

335i -> Twin Turbo

It looks like a smaller version of the 7 series.
