05 C55 has child safety door locks?

I tried to look for the safety switch in the rear doors but didn't find it. Do they exist?

Apparently MB don't consider it a required feature for the NA market which is insane as the holes are in to door edges!
I ended up calling them and they told me it's not an options.

True but I want the child lock option so that they can't open them even when the car has stopped, it's a very common feature, I've no idea why MBUSA has chosen not to offer it.

if you're worried about a child pulling the locks just buy the metal lock pins on ebay, it's short and almost flush that a child can pull when locked. i had this issue and *****ed about it. formymercedes has it too.

That's what I ended up doing however I just don't understand why it's not a feature as the other American cars I've had/have have it.
