Just curious if the renntech pulley kit has the same or similar washer reservoir or is this unique to evosports kit? Both come with a dampener correct?
thanks

Evosport does not change the washer reservoir (I don't think). They just tap into the stock one. . . the idea being to use cool water rather than hot coolant from the coolant reservoir (which is what the C32 uses stock)

If thats the case does the renntech pulley kit do the same for cooling? I am just wondering how these kits differ.

I dont think renntech does any cooling like evosport. I think the evosport is a good buy, with any of this kits you wont go wrong with it

I think that Renntech just leaves the I/C feeding off of the coolant reservoir. Evosport is a well-run group. I think that the Evo pulley kit also has a significant weight advantage over Renntech, but not sure about this

Well, I know that Evosprot has done a lot of testing on the C32 but I see the separate system for intercooler fluid as more of a patch than a solution for hi intake temps.

When you look at the stock system, they do share the same fluid but that fluid is sitting in the overflow tank and is not going to be as warm as the coolant flowing through the cooling system. The Stock set-up pulls the intercooler liquid from the overflow tank and then sends it through its own cooler and into the intercooler. This system works well and it is fine unless you plan to be at wide open throttle for very long periods of time (say heavey canyon driving or road track racing).

You may see a few degrees cooler for the charge air but the separate tank of water is still going to get warm after a few romps on the gas and then well you are stuck with warm water once again.

The only way to really cool the temps is to upgrade everything in the cooling system. Changing any one part will help a very little bit but you will not see a real gain in power with the cooling tank. If you went for a system like that being designed for SMGC32's vehicle you will see at least a 70 degree drop in intake temps and that is a drop you will feel with a good chunk more power.
But that upgrade is a serious matter and involves all new parts for the whole intercooler system.

Both RENNtech and evosports pullies are basically the same and both kits make about the same boost. Now that Evo uses harmonic dampers for their kits they are very similar to everyone else. When it comes down to it its hard to make a new version of a pulley all that different being that its just a round pulley and its only a bit larger than stock. You really cant re-invent the wheel so you cant go wrong with either kit.

Vadim and I wrong in saying that you now have dampers on your 32 kits? I thought that was a running change or am im smoking some good stuff here?
