2002 C32 with Carlsson Exhaust
Command system problem

Hi Guys.

Had my C32 for a few months now and love it to bits but have noticed that when i slow right down or stop, the volume level on the stereo drops. how do i turn this off?

It is speed related volume control. It can only be adjusted on dealer diagnostic - several people claim that disconnecting the BOSE microphone from the system resolves that issue but I have not heard back on the answers.

i suppose the real answer is to not slow down...
thx for the advice. i'll get it changed when the next service comes up.

Hey guys.. I installed 2 subwoofers and a 1000 watt amp. That volume control and 1000W do not mix!! I did a search and found a thread about the mic.. I unpluged it and everything works great now. The mic is located underneath the dome light under the headliner. On the right hand side you will see a little hole. The mic is located in there.

There is a thread with pictures.. if you search hard enough..
