unrestricting top speed
Since all german cars top speed's are restricted to 155mph, what would you have to do to unrestrict top speed governor, would you have to repogram ecu or is there a chip that someone makes to put in?

Yep - gotta program that ECU to let go of its inhibitions . We've let loose a few C32s - only drawback is that your physical ECU must be removed and shipped to us (and that part scares people the most, which is definitely understandable).

Your dad's CL65 BiTurbo can easily have over 600whp with a flash - while we might have done many of them - the only one I ever saw chipped by us was also my first ride in one by its clearly amused owner.

600 bucks just for ECU programming to eliminate the top speed limiter? Jesus ****!! How about I just give you 100 bucks and you come to my house and stomp me in the nuts!!

Haha - let me clarify. The top speed limiter removal is included in our custom ECU tuning (it's something everyone should consider "basic"). We almost always require the car be dyno'd beforehand as A:F ratios and HP/TQ curves help out a lot in designing a flash that's suited to your specific car. Each additional flash afterward is $100 assuming you gain HP on the dyno after your next mod and want your A:F ratios adjusted, RPMs in each gear raised, etc. etc.
By all means, if you'd like to flash your $1200+ ECU yourself - go for it .

Actually, I think I'm okay with never ever finding a need to hit, let alone pass, 155 mph. Seems like there are better things to spend 600 bucks on. By the way, what have you found to be the top speed of a C32 after the reprogramming?
