<p>
So i just picked these up used. Only issue is they kinda rub in the back when i hit a big bump. what should i do to fix that??? anyone have any ideas?? anyway, so i took out my airfilters today cuz i realize they havent been changed at all. i took them out and holly **** it was dirty, im talking an ash tray. i put k&n in, and holly **** the power it gave me was crazy. yup, im not much of a car guy so i really didnt pay attention to the obvious. next, i think ill have to do spark plugs and wires.

There's so much debate between putting in Green or K&N filters which concerns:

1.) The filters eventually clog and mess up your MAF sensors.
2.) Factory-spec filters are designed to work the best with the engine.

Still not sure which school of thought is actually right. So I still have my factory filters. Otherwise I would've gone with Green a long time ago.

looks good, but the front looks like they're sticking out just a little bit? were they made for the C32 or the CLK/C55 which has slightly wider front fender.

you felt that the filter gave you more power probably because the filter was never changed before. At most the filter would give you is about 3-4 hp which you can barely tell. When I put my Green filters in...I could only felt slightly better throttle response and not much else.
