02 C32 CEL after diag mode (dyno-mode/ESP/BAS/ABS off)

I have an autox event on Sunday and I thought I would try the traction control off. First of all, after only a little while, something makes it go into limp-home mode. Seems like after I would turn around and whip it out a little, it would end up in limp-home. That just won't do at the course. Am I doing something wrong? I'm not doing a brake-stand or anything, just driving...with the tail out (FARKING FINALLY!!!), but just driving. Nothing too bizarre.

Then after I was done messing with that, I turned the car off, turned it back on to put it into normal operating mode. Now I have a CEL. Seems pretty coincident with my diag mode driving, after restarts I still get the CEL.

Also, I get what sounds like squeaking from an old bed when I go over bumps coming from the front of the car. I'm going to take video of that and post it so you can hear the sound of it rather than go by my bad description.

Besides that, seems like it's shifting much more surely since they replaced the valve-body to see if that fixed the 'jerk at 1500 rpm'. Completely different car to drive. Can't wait to autox it, but not if that CEL means something real. Can't I get into some mode and see what that damn CEL is?
