PPI Question

Question. I am buying an '03 C32 with 38k miles and a clean, 2owner history from an MB World member. The Carfax came back clean and with no problems. I like the owner and trust him, so I am not compelled to have a PPI done, because of timing (out of state buy). Does any see any problems with this?

Thanks,
G3.

From personal experience I would definitely have the car inspected. I've been out of state car shopping before and the two cars I was interested in were definitely misrepresented. If you're about to spend $30k on a C32 what's another couple hundred bucks to make sure the car is exactly what you want?

I second that. It could be the best couple hundred bucks that you spend...

PPI = private party inspection or 3rd party inspection.

Agree
All,

Thanks for the advice and I agree. The money is not the issue, but rather time. We are working on a short deadline.

Thanks much and I hope to join you guys, as C32 owners, soon enough!
