I just recieved my AMG Ground Wires that I ordered from E-Bay for only $5.95. The set is made from very high quality materials, aluminum AMG base and cap, thick copper wires with gold plated connectors and thick plastic covers. When I had my G35 I considered buying them for $129 from Stillen Racing which claimed a HP increase from 3-5 bhp.
Has anyone tried these Performance Ground Wires and if so what is your experience. Any noticable power gains?
Im skeptical a $5 mod from ebay is going to produce any significant power gains. If it did, wouldnt AMG have put it on the car to begin with? It would probably cost them less than a buck to do so.

I had a C230k for a while, and as an experiment I installed the grounding kit and voltage regulator on it.. While I didn't notice any power diffrence (positive or negitive) my MPG for driving to work went from about 26mpg to 28.5mpg.. Now that could have also been related to the ECU getting reset due to the battery being unplugged for the 30 minutes it took me to do the install (hunting around for those grounding plugs can be a pain) so I am not saying that the Grounding kit worked but..
It was a 5 dollor experiment, which is why I tried.. I in no way endorse the product :-P..
However I did find it odd that MB only uses 1 grounding cable for the battery.. EVERYTHING else is grounded through the body/frame so IF these kits were to work this is the senario that they are most likely to succeed.
