C32 K AMG "Kirsten"
Hi guys,
I just got my C32 K AMG last saturday.
It's a 2002 model, 50.000 miles, just one previous owner, always serviced at MB regularly.
The car's a blast, I mean it. I chose it over a BMW ///M3 because the beemer needs to be trashed in order to take those 343hp out of the naturally aspirated engine.
With the C32 everything's easy and, though I'm not a big fan of automatic gearboxes I must admit it's quite useful and relaxing (and there's always the sequential mode if you need to trash a 996 on the motorway )
I always name my cars after ladies' names of the country of origin: being MB a german carmaker my C32 is named Kirsten.
Plans for the future:
1) chip tuning (+16hp, +50nm, delimit)
2) supercharger upgrade (additional 34hp and 50nm)
3) front grille from CLK
4) eibach pro-kit
For the electronic/mechanical parts I'll rely on this guys www.digitaltuning.ch, for the rest I would be glad to be shown some links (expecially for the CLK front grille...) where I could purchase stuff without asking official MB dealers!
Ciao a tutti!!!

Diesels are 90% of the market in Italy/Europe because of the cost of unleaded fuel (one liter costs pretty much as one gallon in the US........ ) but since my monthly mileage dropped from 3.000 miles to 800 miles I switched to some serious petrol performance car.
In comparison with BMW the Benz has more class, expecially in the sedan segment of the market.
But I think that for serious performance from MB the choice is one only, which is AMG of course!

Hi guys,
just goy back from reprogramming the ECU: the new output is now 370hp and 504nm. Though the power increase is not huge there are 3 remarkable aspects i.e.
1) the s'charger kicks in sooner (and faster)
2) extra 54nm of torque really enjoyable
3) now after swithching from D to sequential mode (3rd or 2nd gear depending on traffic conditions on the highway) and flooring the pedal is truly an awesome experience. Guys you feel really mighty
Not that in the original "version" you felt bored, but we all know that there's not limit for thirst of power and torque.
Sooner or later it's going to be the turn of pulley's upgrade to enable the supercharger to work with higher pressure.
It's going to be 404hp then........can't wait!
