Help Please!!! having battery problems
hi im new to this site i have a c240
and i have a alpine amp & sub and its draining too much energy out of the battery
i just came back from a local auto parts store and they said i need a new alternator does any1 know how much this will cost from Mercedes???

Avoid buying an alternator from the dealer. You are guaranteed to pay too much. Try rockauto.com or call Phil at mercedesshop.com. You'll get a much better price on the same part.
Adding a good-quality capacitor set to your sound system, along with your new alternator, will ensure long life for all your (expensive) electrical components.
