STFF (search the forum first) but I think people like the renntech springs if you're looking to lower the car and keep ride quality at about the same level.

if you're looking to lower the car a lot, i'd go with coilovers.

Search the facts first if you plan to ask members to STFF.

There are no renntechs springs for the C55. They have C32 springs but not the C55.

The C32 springs may work just fine but a C55 is firmer than a C32 stock and the C55 sits far lower then a C32. Not sure the RENNtech springs would be all that much lower than a stock C55... maybe even softer.

I would go for a Carlsson RS Coilover kit or a KW V2. A bit more $$$ but worht every cent.

oops you're correct. here's me inserting my foot into my mouth. i remember reading this thread a while back (https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...nntech+springs) and you're right, nowhere does it mention the c55, only the c32.

white and whiter
springs...all W203 springs will work on the C55, but they won't have the same effect because the C55 is already sitting lower. The RENNtech springs for the C32 will work the same on the C55, but the lowering won't be as dramatic. It'll only give you about 1/2 inche drop from the C55 compare to the 1 1/2 drop from the C32.

congrats on the new car btw.
