Help-Wiriring XM radio

I just got an XM unit. I tore my dash apart. And I need to wire up the power wires. One is the Continuous power RED the other is the Ignition on wire Yellow, I figure the best place to wire the power is into the sig lighter. I opened the lighter and 3 wires appear before me a Tan, Blue, Black. So I figure Black-ground Tan-positive Blue-not sure. What wire is good to tap into the key on wire? what’s a good twelve volt source? ground source? (god I love old American) Btw i got a 2002 C32

You should verify your wiring colors.

Tytpically RED = Ignition On and YELLOW = Constant On.

From my understanding there is no "Ignition On" wires in the W203, so you'r best best is to tap the lighter power since, since it's switched. For the Constant power on, you can use the thick red wire going to the radio. I do recall seeing wiring diagrams, but don't recall which wire offhand.
