Maintenance and leather cleaning?
Also what is the best product to take oil off of leather? some idiot tranported a tire in the back that had oil in it and it is on the leather. Thanks.
I use Leatherique for restoration and treatments (use it on my leather wrapped steering wheels all the time - keeps them soft like the day they were new). Then I use Meguiars stuff for normal cleaning and treatment, but I'm going to try the Lexol though next, that stuff is reportedly the shiz.
As far as procedures/DIY/step-by-step stuff, the detailing forums here and on benzworld are excellent - read there and then it's just practice.
edit: ah I see now that you have a C55 - the filter thing is common - they recommend either a major vaporized cleaning method OR just replace the filter, depending on how bad the smell is. See PDF below:

I have leatherique and it really didn't do jack to get the oil out. I am wondering if there is some method to get it out via steam or something or redie it, as it buggs me out!!! I will take pics later today after I actually wash the car. My ipod kit is supposed to come today also so I am going to toss that in

Thanks Sean
