Hi FrankW
Is there a difference in springs ? Euro Spec vs US Spec ?
Would it be better to leave the car with the Original AMG Springs, with the
19" Bremma's ?

Why you dont check Eibach or H&R for quality/money? a little more expensive than Vogtland but BIG Difference in quality.

If you can go ($$$) a little further, take a look at H&R - Eibach or go to ebay.de and you may come across some nice coilover sets from KW and Bilstein...
BTW... I'd say keep the AMG wheels... They look excellent on the silver sedan IMO.

Welcome!
I got the same silver C32 as you earlier this summer. Congrats on the purchase. Mine is a 2002 and it's been running great, no problems.
My first mod was the White Star Badge replacement. [note: there are a few threads in this forum, just search for White Star Badge].
Next mod will be sport grill... ala CLS style grill.
After that, 18" wheels....
Enjoy your new car!

Raoul, wheels look awesome, great choice
What size tyres did you go for on the rear, and was their any noticable difference in acceleration with the slightly larger diameter of the wheel and tyres making the effective diff ratio a bit taller ?
I am trying to decide between 18s and 19s for my new C32, and with the 19", the only way to keep the diameter of the rear tyre the same, and hence not effect acceleration is with 245/30 tyres......

Hey
Hey Steve_bris,
I used 235/35-19 and 265/30-19 Falken Tires....
I didn't noticed any difference with the 18" tires.
I didn't like the 18s because they look small on the car.
And the 19s are perfect on the car !
So I would go for the 19s..

the US spec car is probably 1"-1.5" higher in the front than the Euro cars to meet the US bumper height regulation which turns out to be total BS since the 2005-present the sport sedans available in the US are all lower than the C32.
