Weird Radio Issue...

I got in my car to go to school this morning and when the key was on the "on" position, I could hear my CD music from the speakers.
When I started up the car, there was no sound coming out from the speakers...

.. I tried to change the CD from my changer but the factory radio didn't recognize any of my CDs that were in my CD changers. When I pressed CDC button, radio would say “NO CDC”..

What the hell?????

I've tried the radio stations and hit the mute button on and off for about 2-3 min and still doesn't work.....

any suggesstion? Taking it back to dealership on Nov 10th..

Ok.. I did a search and find few answers... hopefully, it'll work in few hrs..
so weird... I did try to restart the car but still didn't work.. weird

Sounds like a problem with the optical link. The sound from the radio to the BOSE amp (2002-2003) or Harmon Amp (2005), in the back goes through the optical link. Also, the connection
to the CD changer is on the same optical link.

The 2002 & 2003 models use D2B, 2005 models use MOST. Here is a link the Mercedes training info on the W211, comparing MOST to D2B.
