2004 C55 W203 Audio 50 iPod Interface
I want my 2004 C55 W203 Audio 50 to have iPod Interface, the dealer charges over $450 ; any DIY link , parts supplies?

but this was the old way, using AUX input cable.
the latest iPOD interface I saw in the Benz show, is integrated into the stock Audio system , which will provide a iPOD cable connecting to the iPOD socket. It allows song names display on the LCD display of the information panel and can do track skip etc with the steering wheel buttons.

If you are considering to fix the ipod onto your Audio 50....I would strongly suggest to to purchase the interface kit that is suitable for your car.
Its made specifically for the car & Audio system!
I recently got mine fixed up by the Mbenz dealer and it work seamlessly as described by yourself. Plse do not forget the tray for your ipod to be stored in the glove compartment too.

The dealer told me they did not have the right cable for C55 Audio50, so my dream of this fantastic iPOD integration will come a bit late until they get the cable.
