urgent question
hi i m going abroad very soon, and i have to sell my car before i leave. i tried the dealer but they are offering an unreasonable price. ii bought it at 63.5 grands. its premium package 2005 c55 amg, and only rode for 7300 miles. had no accidents. and the mercedez dealer offered me 35 grands. do you guys recommend any other places that i can sell at more reasonable price? i m trying to sell it at 45~47 what do u think? i would greatly appreciate your replies. thank you.

you prob won't get 45-47k because mb doesn't hold it's value very well, especially it's just 1-2 year old car.
you best bet would be around 40k range, but you might get lucky, if someone is looking for a c55 with low miles, then you might be able to get 45k.
the prob is that, you going abroad soon, so don't know if that will happen to you.
did you post one autotrader, cars.com and craigslit
if not, post it on all of them
also post it on ebay if you want

Why on earth do Mercedes drop their value as if they were a british built car?
I mean what makes BMW (IMHO a crappier car for your money) maintain their value.
Is mercedes finally lumped in with the Jaguar's and Audi's in terms of resale value. The dude paid over 60K fpr his car, has low miles and in almost 2 years he has lost over 33%.
I would assume this is why MB discontinued the C55 for 2007 as the new model is on it's way and very few idiots would spring $55k for a 2007 C55.
