Renntech C32 Testimonial...

I have recently been conversing back and forth with the owner of a Renntech C32. The mods he has done are only the ECU and Pulley modifications, nothing else.

I made the mods in June and have driven about 2000 miles since that time,
a total of about 4500 on the car. he 1/4 mile before the changes was
13.01 at 107.5mph (average of the best three runs at 74 degrees F)--after
mods 12.70 at110.2 mph (average of 4 runs at 89 degrees F) and this does
not indicated the much improved midrange, like a passing situation. All
runs were at the same drag strip, on the same tires, in drive with the
traction control engaged. No problems with the installation or
drivability at all.
This is not my first Renntech car, and I have found that the modified
cars are as reliable as a stock MB. They must test these changes pretty
well before they sell them. My other Renntech is an E500 with everything
done and that has been the best car I have owned to date with a range
from junkers to Ferrari. If I can help you let me know.
Aside from pricing, Renntech is starting to look pretty good after hearing this and what Noel Negroni said.

2002 C32
Hi Accord,

Unfortunately, quality products command a premium. A premium that not everyone is ready to pay for. Look on the bright side, you can always make more money, but nothing beats the feeling of knowing that your car is not like everyone elses. For some people it is the look, for some the brand name, for others the power. For most C32 owners, I think it is the power. As Saleen would say: ''Power in the hands of the few''.

Personally, I am considering the Renntech Springs for my C32.

If you upgrade the power of your C32 then you should also invest in the springs to compensate for the extra power.

Anyway, wait until your C32 arrives. Have fun with it ''Stock'' and then decide what mods will best suit your needs.

Regards
Franco

Nissan Sentra
I saw a C230K with a boat load of Renntech parts and a price tag to match. Lets just say I would have coughed up the additional $10 bucks for the C32

I certainly believe that Renntech delivers under the hood, but the pulley/ECU remap is $3500. I'm not saying that Renntech isn't worth the price of admission, but that is a pretty steep price. Unless the pulley is laser etched from unobtainium, that is a whole lot of cash on the intellectual property side of things. God bless em if they can sell at the price but I would pass. I would probably pay $1500 even though comparable mods for other performance cars are substantially less.

07 SL550; C32 (sold)
how reliable would this pulley be w/o an intercooler upgrade? vadim from evosport tested that the IAT is running too high w/ the additional boost. i believe he doesn't want to sell the pulley alone w/o the intercooler upgrade due to reliability concerns, etc.

any thoughts on this? wouldn't getting the renntech pulley cause IAT to go too high?

I'll keep mine 99% stock, as i can't afford mods

the 1% is for removing the V6 kompressor badge
