AUX input for 2002 C32 OEM head unit?
Sorry for the newbie question. I searched this forum but couldn't find the info I was looking for.
I have a 2002 C32 with the stock head unit that has the tape deck with the CD changer in the glove box. This is NOT a COMAND or NAV head unit.
1) Can anyone tell me the model # of this stock OEM head unit?
2) Does this head unit have an AUX input? Can one be added?
I would like to connect my ipod to my head unit and currently use a tape adaptor but am not satified with the sound quality. FM transmitters are equally bad.
I read many posts about people adding 1/8 AUX plugs to their COMAND units, but I wasn't able to find any info for adding AUX to the head unit I have.
Any information will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I can't tell you the model number, but there is a way to add the AUX input to your unit. I have the same unit as you, and there is a AUX plug in the glove box. If you don't have one there, then search the forums and you will find the thread that goes into detail and will show you what you need.

Unfortunately, it seems as though my only options are:
1) Upgrade head unit to Command - very expensive
2) Purchase iceLink - also expensive
Apparently, there is not easy/simple AUX cable option for my car.
Here were the threads I read in the C-forum:

AMG-Jerry: Are you sure we have the same head unit? I have attached a picture of mine for reference. If you were able to add an AUX to this head unit, I would love to know how you did it. Thanks.
