talk about old....my Tamiya electric buggy is 14 yr old. built it when I was 10...woot. It's a Tamiya Manta Ray btw. I had modded it, but ended up breaking a lot of stuff. It's on stock parts with CF chassi (the only upgrade I didn't manage to destroy).

WHILE WERE AT IT! I HAVE A w208 CLK body in black! and also I have a O.S. MAX engine for sale, its brand new, CV-RX 12 is the model #. comes with a new flywheel, new recoil starter. If anyone interested, throw me a price and i'll send you pics! again, its BRAND NEW NEVER USED.

Yes, expensive hobby! My favorite was the Kyosho Superten (way back then... 6 yrs ago I think)..
I had two of those, one with the 4-stroke engine! That thing sounded great and would idle forever!
I think the most fun RC car I've ever played was the 1/8th scale gas buggy tho... they're fast, torquey, and slides around all day around the track.. just serious fun for serious money.
I remember buying an M. Collari modified Novarossi engine for $600...
One I never enjoyed... (mainly cause it was too expensive and I kept breaking the car), was 1/8th scale OnRoad.
