I'm in a bit of a pickle need help!

Last Friday i was driving home from school and the drivebelt came off! Luckily i was close to home and was able to get it to the dealer (silverstar of thousand oaks). I talk to the mech and he said one of the pulleys broke, the idler pulley. He ordered the pulley on Sat. and it arrived yesterday, but it didn't fit! He tried another pulley and it didn't fit either, so he believes that i hate a custom or aftermarket pulley system. I bought the car used and the previous owner had done other mods such as deleted resonator and lowered. (i found out that these mods were down because i was going to do them but they were already done) so the previous owner might have done other mods that i am unaware of.

I'm wondering what i should do right now, the dealer will put it back to stock, but i he would have to order ALL the other pulleys since they are different which could be costly. what are my other options? It sounds like the pulley installed is the evosport because they use different components to stock correct? I don't think its ASP because they just weld something.. any info would be appreciated!

Call the previous owner and get the facts. If its Evosport you may want to get that pulley. Should be much cheaper than changing back to stock, unless that is what you want to do anyway.

Call the previous owner and if he did change out the pulleys see if you can get a copy of the reciept. Any of the reputable companies should replace the pulley for free if it broke due to a manufacturing error.

Thanks for the replies! here's the deal, I am in Santa Barbara for school and my car is in westlake and the dealer called my home phone(in westlake) and my dad told them to just change it back to stock! I'm kinda pissed (although my dad said he would pick up the tab on that) but i'll ask MB if i could keep the pullies to try and find out which ones they were.. thanks again everyone!
