Squeak on start-up
hi guys
Been browsing for a few months, but could use your expertise now.
I noticed when I started my C32 (03) this morning, there was a squeak from the engine bay. I switched off, then on again and it was there a second time. On idle, there is no squeak from the engine bay so that casts doubt on whether it is a loose belt or something (although that is the first thought that comes to mind). The noise only lasts a second and then vanishes. It seems to emanate from the left side of the engine bay (I am RHD).
Any ideas? I’d hate going to the dealer for something harmless.
