Guys,
I just had my service B performed at my local garage because mercedes wanted $500 to do it. Anyway, the guy couldn't figure out how to turn the service light off. Does anyone have instructions on how to do this?
Thanks in advance!

This brings up something I haven't considered.
Do all newer MB cars (under warranty) no longer include service maintainance as part of the package?

That's correct.

This is untrue. The manual for my C55 says only the dealer can do it.Originally Posted by m444

After exhaustive searching I'm pretty sure I found the answer.
Thanks.

Just posted this in an other thread but here goes again ", ignition to position #2 not 3 (3 is crank) bring up the service menu via the steering wheel, push "R" and when instructed to do so release and push again to confirm. Message will then read "service has been reset".
