Curious to know how wide of a tire and rim I would be able to run on a c32. If it is possible to fit a 10 or 11 inch rim, running 275 nitto drag radials would be possible to make for some VERY hard launches.

99' SLK 230 & 01' CLK 430
Why you want to go wider then stock? It just gonna add weight to the car and you will lose hp to turn it. Vadim@Evosport just dyno hic C32 with 18" wheel and found that you lose about 9 hp at the wheel.

I think the max that you can put will be the sizes that I am currently running which are 235/35/19x8.5 and 265/30/19x9.5.
Anything wider than that will probably need to roll the already rolled fender!

Well, I think you can put a 10 inch wide wheel on the rear with 275 tires. I remember peter@wheelexpert showed us a pic a while ago of a C320 with a 18x10 (or 19x10, forgot which) wheels on, but I dont remember whether that guy has rolled his fender or not, he probably did. Or you may put a 19x10 wheel with 265 tires???

Out Of Control!!
Flaring your fender requires either pulling the fender outwards or actually cutting a piece off and attaching a flare. While rolling fenders is easy enough, I would only recommend having fender flared at an experienced body shop.
The fenders on my car have been flared an additional .75" in order to fit 245/35/19F and 275/35/19R (I have a CLK).

First widebody C32 AMG
WIDEBODY~~that way you can put whatever size rims you want..
i had 19x11 on the rear
but not anymore to make it more practical..and it was too much rubber for me and i wanted BBKs on the rear too
so i currenty have 19x10 with Bridgeston Potenza S0-3s(285s)
and i will post some pics after the Hot Import Nights on saturday
im sure the car looks very different than what it was..

AMGRider,
How far out did you have your fenders flared?
Also how about just replacing the side panel and fenders with a custom fabricated widebody panel made instead? That way you could do it in carbon fiber. I read that Renntech had that on one of their CLK and the weight was down to like 3000lbs. Also a lot of M3/M5 people have that done as well.
Ok Ok just dreaming but if it wasn't an enormous price I would do it. Maybe if we get enough people together to do a group buy.
What is involved in a fender roll? Anybody know anyone in the NE area that can do it?
Thanks.
Prasith

SSR Comps on a C32
Sticky2 mentions the SSR Comps on a C32. Someone else mentioned these on a different thread. The hole pattern is 115 mm, which is wrong for the C32. Can they be redrilled to fit on the C32 and, if so, who does it and how much $?
