May buy C55
Hi folks I am new here - looks like the best place to get info on the C55.
I am looking to buy the C55. I pretty much know all the technicals about it, and I know what I am getting.
I've found one 2006 on the lot, but I haven't talk to the stealership yet. And I've found a couple of used C55's with 20K or less.
Questions are this:
What do I need to watch out for?
And what is the real world gas milage if I drive it decently? (I am not buying this thing for milage, I just want to know before I buy it, and I don't trust the sticker).
Thanks

C55 AMG
I'm selling mine, I see you are in Texas, so, I have no reason to exaggerate.
I have had no issues with mine. 21000 miles.
If I take it easy, 70mph, I get 24mpg. Drive with spirit and you will see about 19.
Service A runs about 200 dollars, Service B was 400 at the dealer.
Best of luck in your search.

I also get 20+ mpg, so I would say that is a very realistic #. Make sure you don't pay much over invoice. The market has plumeted on these cars and MB has plenty of trunk money behind invoice. Fully loaded 06's can be bought new for $55K.

Dealer quoted me $55 for the last 06 on the lot with NAV. I am holding. Think I would rather entertain someone who loves their current car but needs to get out of it.
