battery drained

I noticed the past month when i dont use my car every day and that the battery dies on me. It happened twice already 1st time I didnt start the car for 2 days and it was dead, and 2nd time the car was sitting for 1 day. It has a brand new battery and it killed that one to now. Anyone eles experience any battery drainage?

It happened twice for me. First time was the driver's seat control module, the second time was the passenger seat control module.

You can unplug the module under the seat to see if that is whats draining the battery. I can't remember exactly which harness it was, but it was one of the ones towards the front of the seat. You can see them right when you look under the seat.

Anybody know which harness it is? If not, you can try calling roadside and asking them. I learned about it when roadside helped me jump start the car and told me that it might be the seat.

Same here. First it was Passenger Seat Control Module then Driver Seat Control Module. Dealer replaced them under CPO.

It just happened to me as well. Mine was the driver Seat Control Module, replaced under warranty.

In my case, I had various current draws.

1) I bought a Nav Disc for TX (on ebay) when I purchased the car in CA. The disc kept spinning even with the car turned off. Dealer wanted to replace the whole NAV system and all I had to do was push the eject button to stop this draw.

2) Driver's Seat Control Module. Very common problem on all W203s.

I went through 3 batteries. I jumped started the car so many times that I blew up the rear SAM so check on that as well.

I replaced the module, rear sam and got a new battery all at once. Car was sitting for two weeks in two occasions and no problems at all...

These toys can be frustrating sometimes...
