Phone ??
I just purchased a used 02 C32 and there is a connection for a phone under the armrest and a plug that should plug inti the bottom of the phone then sit in the cradle... Does anybody know what phone will work ??? And does it have to be a MB phone ? Because I also have an E55 and my phone that came with the car has a MB logo right on it and supposed to have some special flash for it to work..
Also if there is a Bluetooth device that will hook up to the connection would also be great. Thanks

Yes, without any modifications, it does have to be a particular MB phone. Mostly are old and you don't really want to use any of them. But there are ways to use newer phones although it's pretty much limited to Motorola. Check Mikbox.com.
What you might want is Bluetooth. Search the forum regarding Argos. Good luck.

Thanks , I don't know if I want to pay $800 just to have bluetooth.. I just paid $380 for my E55 to switch to bluetooth and though that was alot but $800 ?? maybe I can find 1 in the classifieds. Thanks

the phone that fits mine is a Nokia 6210. it then connects via the command system and is fully controllable from that. You can view the phonebook via the command or via the phone settings on the steering wheel and the dash display. You can even text (sms) via the command system. You can the phones second hand on ebay quite easily.

Same here, Nokia 6210 fits in the cradle and all fully functional via steering wheel buttons and via command if need be.Ijust use that one as car phone and another for personnel, works fine for me.

the cradle in my car looks like it is supposed to fit the motorola timeport... is there a cable that I can just swap out and use the nokia phone ?
