Auto-dimming mirror
does the passenger mirror auto-dim? i just noticed only the driver side and rear view mirror in my car auto-dim ... is this normal or my passenger side mirror went bad

I'm not sure about Canada, but in the US, only the driver's side mirror and the main rear-view mirror auto-dim.
Some of us have gotten the UK version of their driver's side mirror, which would be our passenger's side mirror, as an auto-dim modification.
But typically, most new models only have 2 auto-dimming mirrors.

if you use the UK driver's side auto-dimming mirror, obviously you will need the new control door module for that side, and some programming via STAR-Diag. It's doable, but you need someone like Steve (MBenzNL) to put in the hard work.
