track day at Pocono 5/11
hey guys. this is prob the best bang for the buck out there. $175 for open track 4-5 hrs.
a few spots remain. i'll be there with a friend in his c55. perhaps we can have an all amg team for the relay.

here's a vid of me being chased (and passed) by one of the best drivers in the club in his 350z. note the start of the vid you're up on the banking and end up 130mph before braking. i need more grip / camber as i'm pushing out as i go through the corner. quite a thrill.

i will offer up 2 235/45-17 yoke ao48 dor t compounds to anyone who wants to run. they are worn but still have a good few laps left in 'em.

Seems like the Z350 driver is very aggressive on turns, he enters with higher speed and then C32 accelerated a bit stronger on the way out. Just before he passed you, his speed entering that last turn was much higher as he probably realized that is the only way he could deal with the C32 - good tactics as long as it worked.
There is a very interesting video showing a track event in Mexico (in 2006) where a C32 chased a 350 after gained a whole lap over most cars (including the Z350) and when a straight opened up, the c32 passed the 350 very easily.
Mods would definitely play a role.

for sure the c32 has the legs on the 350z it's cornering where the car (or driver!) is weak. he was on RA1s. the last turn, as we re enter the banking, i backed out and was waving him by. i suspect that's not happening this year :-)
